Ray Capp has over 22 years of executive leadership experience in the distribution, publishing, and entertainment industries. Capp served as COO at Ingram Entertainment from its founding to over $1 billion in sales, and as EVP at Thomas Nelson Publishers, one of the top 10 publishers in the English language. With considerable experience with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), product development, and marketing, Capp is highly regarded as an insightful strategist and no frills operator. Capp is himself, a successful author and inventor.

Mike Hassell has held executive management and marketing positions in new ventures for the past 18 years. Hassell has served as CEO for several Vanderbilt start-up companies, as well as holding the positions of VP Marketing for MedPearl and President of Slingerland Drum Company. After receiving a Georgia Tech electrical engineering degree and beginning his career in marketing at Proctor & Gamble's brand management, Hassell received a Harvard MBA before launching his entrepreneurial career. Though Hassell's experience includes biotech, information technology (IT) and manufacturing businesses, he has chosen to specialize in IT ventures at ConduIT Corporation.

Following a year of postgraduate studies at Vanderbilt, Farsheed Ferdowsi founded Access Data—a software development firm in 1979. This was followed by a string of other companies in the information technology industry.
In 1991, he founded PayMaxx, a payroll service outsourcing company, which took off on the national scene reaching the rank of the sixth largest in the USA. PayMaxx was included in the prestigious Inc. 500 list for four consecutive years and is a member of the Nashville Area Future 50 Hall of Fame. In July 2005, PayMaxx was sold to CompuPay where Mr. Ferdowsi served as Chief Development Officer until July 31, 2007.
He has since launched Victor Hope Capital to pursue opportunities in early stage equity investments as well real estate development.
Farsheed Ferdowsi was recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as the Entrepreneur of the year in 2002 and is an alumnus of Leadership Nashville—class of 2003. Throughout the years, he has served on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations in Middle-Tennessee. These include, the Harpeth Academy, The Red Cross, the Nashville Zoo, the Greater Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Middle Tennessee YMCA, and the Rotary Club of Nashville.
Mr. Ferdowsi holds a master’s degree in structural engineering from U.C. Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University.

John E. Maupin, Jr., D.D.S. currently is president of Morehouse School of Medicine. Previously, he served as the president of Meharry Medical College. Additionally, Dr. Maupin was the Executive Director of Southside Healthcare, Inc., an Atlanta-based community health center.
Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Maupin has received an honorary Doctor of Science from Morehouse School of Medicine in 1995, and an honorary Doctor of Laws from Virginia Union University in 1996. In 2002, he received the Urban League of Middle Tennessee Education Award in recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions in health professions education. In 1991 as a result of his service during Operation Desert Shield/Storm, he received the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal.

From 1983 to 2000, Pat was a General Partner of J.C. Bradford & Co. where he was the firm’s General Counsel and a member of the firm's Management Committee. From 1980 to 1983 Pat was Assistant General Counsel to Heinold Commodities, Inc. Pat has held numerous positions with the Securities Industry Association, including serving on the Executive Committee of the Compliance and Legal Division and Day Chair of the Division’s Annual Seminar and as a member of the SIA’s Federal Regulation Committee. Pat has served on the Compliance Advisory Committee of the NYSE, the Membership Committee at the NASD and currently serves as the Chair of the NASD District 5 Committee. Pat received his BBA from the University of Notre Dame and his JD from DePaul University.

Ken Russell is Chairman and CEO of Community Harbor, LLC, Vice President and co-founder of ISDN-Net, Inc., past chairman of Digital Crossing Networks, and an integral participant of a group of related technology businesses including network co-location centers and a competitive local telephone company. He is president of the Tennessee Internet Service Providers Association.

Jack Stringham, II is an attorney practicing with the firm of Bone, McAllester, Norton, PLLC in downtown Nashville. He formerly served as Secretary to the Board of First American Corporation, a publicly held corporation, and its subsidiary, First American National Bank. He also served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for the Corporation and the Bank. Currently, he is Secretary to the Board and General Counsel for the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.

Leah Gilliam provides project management to Conduit and affiliates. She is president and founder of Ceramitecture, LLC, which is a Nashville based manufacturing company.

Mr. Cook is responsible for identifying and negotiating private equity investments, as well as conducting due diligence and monitoring portfolio companies. He has over thirty years of sales and management experience. Prior to co-founding Clayton Associates, Mr. Cook founded NASCO Inc., a large product manufacturing company where he served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Cook was directly responsible for directing the senior management of NASCO and its subsidiaries which included the manufacturing of products as diverse as household items, sports outerwear, and generic drugs. Prior to NASCO, Mr. Cook served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Olympic Manufacturing. Mr. Cook earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Tennessee – Martin, TN.
